The different volunteer event that I have participated...
Black Box Volume 1

What I did in the event: I helped to set up the speakers before the event and did mostly Front-of-house where I guide the audience in registering their names before they enter. After the performance, I helped to strike down equipment and cleaned the area. I get to have the chance to observe and even help out behind the scenes which made me know more about what it is like to set up a live band performance. I get to watch some parts of the performances and really enjoyed it.
The Singapore Repertory Theatre Show Shakespeare In The Park : Macbeth

What I did in the event: I did front-of-house duties, guided the audience to take their seats. Stood at the toilet area to ensure that users do not cross the area and enter the backstage which was beside the toilet area. After the show, we distributed flyers to the audience.
It was a very meaningful experience getting to volunteer as a FOH crew for this well-known show! Even though I did not get to do much work during the show, but I learnt through that working for a show would sometimes require us to step out of our comfort zones when we need to.
