T329 Theatre Production Practicum
This was a module that allows us to learn the concepts of a production and eventually bring up a production as a class.
I was in the set team for the production. My team and I came up with designs that suits the script given to us which was "Vicious Bloom" by Pericles Vexillia. We made the set pieces on our own and also was in charge of making any set changes during the show. I mainly made the balcony and the flowers for the scenes and painted the set pieces.
I get to experience what a real production would be like, from understanding the script to putting up the show. Even though 12 weeks was quite tight in time, but the process has taught me a lot.
